Pennsylvania Food Poisoning News and Recalls -- August 2008

WHOLE FOODS BEEF
Whole Foods Market is recalling fresh ground beef sold in Pennsylvania between June 2 and August 6, 2008 due to possible contamination with E. coli 0157:H7 bacteria.  The ground beef in question came from Coleman Natural Beef whose Nebraska Beef processing plant was previously subject to a nationwide recall for E. coli 0157:H7 contamination.  As of August 2008, several illnesses have been attributed to this recalled ground beef.
