Truck Crash in Washington County Kills Police Officer Picking Up Tire on I-70

An off duty police officer was killed in a truck crash in Washington County on Interstate 70 (I-70).  He was an officer with South Strabane Township.  While driving home he saw a tire in the road.  The driver of a dump truck hit the police officer, Nathaniel Burnfield.  The driver of the dump truck was also killed.  Any time you see a person or car in the road, you must keep your vehicle under control.
