On November 2, 2011, Berger & Lagnese attorneys Joshua Berger and David Paul obtained a jury verdict of $663,891.03 on behalf of the family of a Cambria County lady who died at a hospital in Altoona, Pennsylvania as a result of her doctor's failure to diagnose and treat her bowel obstruction. As a result of the doctor's failure to diagnose and treat her bowel obstruction, a bowel perforation developed, causing the lady to die two days later from infection.
