Berger & Lagnese suit stops Pharmacies from overcharging patients for records

The Superior Court of Pennsylvania found the pharmacies can not charge $50 for one page a patients pharmacy records.  The Pittsburgh law firm of Berger & Lagnese filed class action lawsuit against Rite Aid for charging $50 for a patient to obtain a copy of his pharmacy records which is most often only one page.  Berger & Lagnese argued that Rite Aid charges for the pharmacy records should be limited to amounts permitted to be charged under the Pennsylvania Medical Records Act.
