Nerve Damage During Arthroscopic Knee Surgery

We filed and settled a case during trial against a surgeon for damaging our client’s peroneal nerve during arthroscopic knee surgery. We argued at trial that the surgeon cut the nerve during the performance of surgery to repair our client’s lateral meniscus.  As a result of the nerve injury our client, who was 16 years old, suffered a permanent foot drop.
