47-Year-Old Woman Killed in Westmoreland County Car Crash

State police say a three-vehicle car crash resulted in the death of a Salem resident

The crash reportedly took place south of Forbes road on Route 819 around 1:30 PM. The victim has been identified as a 47-year-old Salem resident. According to local authorities, she was driving an SUV when she crossed the centerline of the road and was struck by an oncoming truck.

Police state that she was reported dead at the scene. No other deaths or injuries were reported.
